On behalf of his mates, Rev. Fr. Richard Edem Kwame Mawusi, expressed appreciation to the Bishop for conferring this dignity of the priesthood on them as well as to all those who have joined them to celebrate in their joy with their prayers, counsel and their resources both human and financial. The bishop, before imparting his final blessings announced the parish communities where the newly ordained priests would be assigned pastoral duties, effective September 14th 2023 amidst applause and excitement from the congregation.

Benjamin Danso from New Tafo Parish appointed to Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Oda, Rev. Fr. Simon Asimeng from Akim Aperade Quasi Parish appointed to St George Cathedral, Koforidua,Rev. Fr. Richard Sam-Adjekum from Nsawam appointed to St Francis of Assis Parish, New Tafo-Akyem, Rev. Fr. Stephen Foli from Nsawam Parish appointed Mary Queen and Mother Parish, Larteh, Rev. Fr. Melchizedek Bempong Agyemang from Akwatia appointed to St Michael Parish Nkawkaw, Rev. Fr. Richard Edem Kwame Mawusi from Asokore Parish to St Anthony Parish, Akwatia, Rev. Fr. Charles Kwasi Duah Jnr. St Bakhita Parish Koforidua , appointed to St Joseph the Worker Parish Adoagyiri, and Rev. Fr. Silas Kweku Mordzi from Adoagyiri Parish appointed to St. John the Baptist Parish, Anyinam. They all celebrated their First Thanksgiving Masses in the respective Parishes on Sunday 13th August, 2023.
