DATA - ST. PETER PARISH, SOMANYA
St. Peter Parish is one the Parishes in the Krobo Deanery of the Catholic Diocese of Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
STATIONS: The Parish has sixteen (16) stations with a total population of about 3,200. With the exception of one station (Bukrum) which is in the Upper Manya-Krobo District, all the stations are within the Yilo Krobo Municipality.

Currently, there are two priests taking care of the Parish. They are:

CATECHISTS:
There are twenty-two (22) Catechists in active service currently working in the Parish. Besides, there is one (1) retired catechist who is on "secondment"

Somanya: 1st Mass at 7.00am (English) & 2nd Mass at 9.30am (Dangme)
Sawer: 6.00am (Dangme)
Adjikpo: 9.30am (Dangme)

i. Somanya: Morning Mass on Tuesdays and Fridays - 6.00am
Evening Mass & Teaching on Mondays (Youth Mass) and Thursdays – 7.00pm
Evening Mass with the Charismatic Renewals: Last Wednesday of the Month
ii. Sawer: Morning Mass on Wednesday – 5.00am
Evening Mass & Teaching on Thursday – 7.00pm
iii. Adjikpo: Morning Mass on Wednesday – 5.00am
Evening Mass & Teaching on Friday – 7.00pm
Besides, we have six (6) Christian Communities in the Town where Masses are celebrated for on Wednesdays every month. They are:
